Hi

The pre defined commodities watch list is still showing Jan contracts .... Can you please get them changed to FEB already ?? I prefer using the watchlists you'll have already. That way it is easier than typing the commodity name etc etc...

And my dashboard opens in the Jan contract and i lose precious time trying to find the commodity i need to trade.

Regards
Greg
Hi @gregferns,

The pre-defined Near Month MCX Futures Watchlist is showing January contracts because they have not yet expired. I guess you're a bit confused. Most of the Jan contracts expire on 31st Jan as mentioned in the description of the scrip when you load the chart. For instance, ALUMINI19JANFUT means that the contract is of January 2019.

When you load the chart, the description of the contract reads," ALUMINI 19 Jan 31 FUT". This is self-explanatory. Please let us know if there are any contracts which have expired and continue to be displayed on the list.

Thanks.

It would be helpful if you can send me a screenshot of the error message. The screenshot that you sent of the Bracket Order entry window was perfect but need to see the error message to be able to comment. Actually, if a trader enters the wrong prices, we do have a pop-up message which gives information about how to enter Bracket Order Entry, SL and Target prices.
Hi @Tejas Khoday

Hi.

I have another query if you can help me out.

Sometimes i try to raise an order quickly only to find the system message CO NOT ENABLED FOR SCRIPT... or something like that.

Can you please try and point out which has what as per the table given below ?? I dont know if you already have this info at a glance on your website but sorry, couldn't find it. The tick for commodity futures is because i know you have CO for that.

The message essentially means that your Target & SL orders should be in the INR (Points as is popularly referred to by many). For example, Let's say you bought a scrip at 100 and you want to place your stop loss at 98 and target at 105, your order entry inputs should be as mentioned below:

1. Stop Loss - 2
2. Target - 5

Hope this clarifies.

Please read the contract specifications given on the left-hand side of the chart @gregferns. Unlike equity derivatives, MCX contracts don't expire uniformly on the same day. It depends on the commodity.
Ok.. Noted thanks.

Now the watchlist (predefined) for commodities shows CRUDE OIL as 19 feb and yesterday it was showing as 19 Jan...

Anyways i will have to keep watch myself every expiry so as not to miss out on trades...

Thanks again.
