There is no SL .. if required will use market order .. since market is in a range, no SL is being used.

Many traders are buying, selling, scalping.. but in this strategy there is nothing much to be done all day !!!

Now Banknifty has been steadily going down ... but nothing to worry here. Banknifty spot is around : 30300.

Banknifty has just had another 75 point move downwards around 2:30 PM

30100 PE : Rs 118
30700 CE : Rs 71
Total premium running : Rs 189

Profit so far today = Rs 215 - 189 = Rs 26

Bahut sanatta hai.. [there is a lot of silence] on this board and other boards as well.. many are waiting for intraday recovery... but here I'm sipping on some garma garam chai .. and watching the screen ...

there has been recovery from the lows by approx 50 point in Banknifty index.
Those who saw small profit booked it fast.. those in loss are waiting in hope ... !!!

Sufficient for intraday .. Rs 35 .. sipping on chai !!!

For those whose Brokers ate willing to wait till 3:15 .. or 3:20 .. here is the final update for the day:

This is not practical as we cannot let the square off happen in Brokers hands.. e.g. they might square off one position at 3:15.. and another at 3:29 .. a lot can happen in between ...

This is only theoretical since position should not be held after MIS cut off ..

Total premium running : Rs 175
Profit so far today = Rs 215 - 175 = Rs 40

I had bought 30500 put at 267 in morning , it closed at 290 at EOD even after such a fall. total crap.
I exited with only 10 points profit after 40 minutes in morning.

Not counting the tension that arises if the market suddenly goes up for a few minutes... almost all traders who are short close the position.. then the market comes down again... LOL ... SL gets hit ..etc etc.. this is a common happening !!
