Update to this notice: To safeguard clients' interest if next circuit breaker hits, we will take the following steps in the event Nifty/Sensex touches -13% today:

1. Intraday trading in the Equity and Equity F&O segment will be disabled.
2. Intraday positions will be squared off.
What is the logic behind intraday position square off?

Do you have a right to square off a client's position without permission of client? If there is sufficient margin?

I think it will depend on the type of order you put in. I don't think they will square off orders in NRML mode, only MIS/BO orders.

Hey,
It's as per our RMS policy, where we take calls with due diligence. This is only applicable to Intraday positions which are leveraged products.
