Best candles to take positions after cross over or 30 EMA touch!

For Longs, after the 5 EMA cross over 30 EMA, take long positions after the first candle breakout and the second candle when it is not touching 3 EMA,check the chart below!

For short, same as after breakout of 5 EMA over 30 EMA, take short positions after the first candle breakout and second candle not touching 30 EMA, check out the chart below

If you have done swing trading in this system, the short signal generated on 3rd May 2012 at 2.00 pm @ 5214 level and after two days trading, just now only the trend is broken @ 5020, so its almost 200 points profit in shorts

Exit Long Position with sudden spike @ 5080 and whooping profit off 62 points

I like to add this as another rule, if at all we see a sudden spike like this we should exit our position immediately as the 5 EMA would be very long to the candles and wait for again for the 30 EMA touch for fresh positions!

Today's Trading Analysis

We have couple of trades today, the first one, shorted @ 5020 and covered @ 5025 as the 5 EMA break out 30 EMA, ends in just 5 points profit!

Second trade, took long @ 5018 and it didn't broken out the entire day, so if you have closed on EOD, you might ended up 100 profits but in the afternoon there is some big movements happened and my charts shows some gap up and usually its a sign to to cover the position at the higher level and wait for the next signal, I closed at 5080 (62 points profit)

Unfortunately, it goes well within the trend whole day, lesson learned now to wait for crossover and never break the rules

For tomorrow, again will wait for 30 EMA touch to take fresh positions :thumb:
