Carried forward the shorts. Key resistance at 5450. The longer we stay below this level, reversal is on the cards. Will post immediate supports and resistances later.

Good morning Nandamad. Since it has gone that far, we might as well take the risk of another 5 points. We need to keep a close eye on spot nifty 5450 level and map other trades accordingly. I am quite tempted to close the shorts as well but it all depends on spot nifty.

Hi Mansi. 78.6% key retracement from the fall of 5630 to 4770 comes around 5450. This is a very crucial level on the charts.

Hi prada good analysis , but how you figured out 5450 as the key resistance, bcoz Nifty spot touched 5449 & started falling.

Levels to watch on spot nifty:

Resistances- 5427-5450-5465
Supports- 5390-5367-5349

Below quoted post was posted by me in another thread on 28th July. Although SSE went from 2128 to 2100 and not 2074 as mentioned in the broad movement, it quickly retraced to 2170 and has fallen from there to 2094(CMP ). It will drift down to the targets mentioned below i.e 1920(minimum).

Shanghai Composite (CMP 2128) - This seems to be in its final phases of its eternal downtrend. Its pain should get over close to 1920-1850 odd levels. Possible pattern of broad movement from current levels is 2074 - 2170 - 1920(minimum).

The chart suggests that the stock will drift down to 428 levels in the days ahead. Trend negation point 538.
