Dear Kotak Life Insurance Congratulations on Forgery of signatures.

I am just reiterating the TEXT as available and posted by a KOTAK Life
Insurance Policy Holder, her name is MANJU RANIWAL. The post is
available on www.Traderji.com.

You 420 Kotak Life Insurance has forged the signature of this policy
holder(MANJU RANIWAL) and issued a policy to this innocent lady under
wrong name, wrong address, wrong date of birth, wrong nominee, wrong
mobile number, FORGED SIGNATURES etc.

Shame on You.

I will re-produce the TEXT of her post. which I quote the policy number
policy(no.:- 02075352), Client ID 53972055, KOTAK Super Advantage (UIN-
107L058V01) by KOTAK LIFE Insurance on FORGED SIGNATURES.

Dear Learned Friends, I need UR help & guidance on following:-

1. I had a policy no.:- policy(no.:- 01335971) Client ID 52107562,
KOTAK SMART Advantage (107L043V01) dated 04/10/2008 Against an annual
sum of Rs.36,000.00 with due date of October of every year. I had paid
up two installments i.e. a sum of Rs.72,000.00.

2. In July,2010 I got a reminder telephone call from a support
staff of KOTAK LIFE INSURANCE explaining me the scheme that since the
ban on ULIP is now lifted by the Govt. of India. So, KOTAK LIFE
INSURANCE has a scheme that if you make a pre-payment of the due
installment of Rs.36,000.00 in month of July,2010 against the due date
of October,2010 then I shall be entitled for an assured sum of
Rs.1,50,000.00 in January,2011. (i.e. Rs.72000 paid upto Oct.2009 +
Rs.36000 paid in July,2010 = Rs.1,08,000.00).

3. They sent a messenger at my residence to collect the payment
which I paid vide cheque no.:-822546 dated:-28/07/2010 Amounting to
Rs.36,000.00 drawn on HDFC Bank xxxxxxx Delhi in favour of KOTAK LIFE
INSURANCE Policy No.:- 01335971. On 06.08.2010, I received a policy
no.:- 02075352, Client ID 53972055, KOTAK Super Advantage (UIN-
107L058V01) dated :- 02/08/2010. After going through the policy I found
that it was issued on my forged signatures. I had never made any
request for such migration/ issuance.

After going thru the new policy I observed that the last few pages of
the policy contain the scanned image of 8 nos page of form no.:- KP
02075352 which reflects my forged signatures invariably on all pages.

I want to sue the KOTAK Life Insurance under section 420 of Indian
Penal Code & compensation, please guide where to approach & how?
UNQUOTE.

We are members of TRADERJI.com , we are united and fighting for this
cause together, You will have to pay for your FORGERY.

How greedy the KOTAK LIfe Insurance is? they victimized an innocent
lady and not even bothered to address her issue.

KOTAK Life Insurance should pay back her policy fee and compensation,
she (Manju Raniwal) has already filed a complaint to KOTAK.

reply from Kotak looks like a standard reply template that is used for almost all queries.

I used to work for a US based outsourced bank back office, where you just have a couple of "templates" to copy and paste [edit name, signature etc] in replying to customers [despite what the customer wants/says].

looks like agents from the "outsourced" vendor process such emails. They have daily targets for replying to such emails. I doubt, these emails are being read by someone with eyes and ears [+ brain in the middle].

Unless the email lands on some managerial level, this email-email game will continue without any real progress.

Yes you have said very correct.

I would like everybody, members, palka and other , traderji community who stood beside me in time of distress.

I would like to update that the IRDA has finally accepted & registered my complaint about forgery done by KOTAK Life Insurance.

Now, KOTAK has also awaken, they are calling me now, Believe me from day of first complaint KOTAK did not even bothered to reply me.

Thnx eveybody, I bow before U all for guiding.
Lets See What happens next...!

This is a great news. You have demonstrated for all of us that it is possible to fight indifferent and greedy companies the legal way.

I am sure Kotak will be forced to take action.

Similar incident has happened with me too. In short, now i don't rely on any private firm whether it's insurance or banking, etc. I prefer to go with government sector firm, they are always better in every way. Now i am with LIC India - LIC Policy Details
