in my constant quest for better portfolio manager which I could manage on my own laptop and update buy/sell, splits etc I found below application (open source, java, stores all data in plain text file ; XML)

latest stock prices gets updated from Yahoo Finance Or you can upload CSV.

Handles multiple portfolio, multiple trading accounts. original developers are from Germany so website needs to be translated, but application is available in English.

ping me if anyone really interested, wouldn't spam in the thread diverting to external website. (unless it's allowed)..
