India's trade deficit with china is upward of 60 billion $. Without alternate source, planned production, boycott Chinese products will not work. Plus there are govt contracts which are being awarded every week to chinese companies...

Immensely difficult to eliminate anything from the Chinese supply chain. We will have to stop taking medicines and sit in a hand woven tent without electricity if we have to boycott the Chinese goods.

The vision must have started some 35 to 45 years ago to become self sufficient. Like it or not, and I know this is unpopular opinion and will rattle quite a few people but must be spoken. We only as a collective become patriotic on special days like the Independence day. It is a sad reality which we have to atleast acknowledge.
