you are wrong ...for most people(99%) the new tax slab will be better
even with dedcutons the old system cannot beat new system
80c and other deductons essentially are now obsolete...

Deductions were kind of fraud..
Many salaried persons were buying ulip and other things with negative returns..
The government should focus on tax collection only..where one puts rest of money should be up to him..

Only exemption should be on money put into pension plan. Which you cannot take out before turning 55
