Yes, but day traders do not enter on the first tick and and wait for EOD to sell. Just saying.
But then I suppose there's no other way to conduct that study.

Well, neither Day trading is harmful and nor sleeping at night with over night position (akka swing/positional) is profitable ,every article in news paper is not the actual fact of trading, same is case with "mutual fund sahi hai" half true and half false,lot depends on method and traders discipline ,...there are many points we have to follow to get through stock market..
