Yes...5+ bars in OB/OS zone is a very powerful indication of the strong tend continuing.....most common mistake is market is in overbought zone so sell....but the market will accelerate on the upside.....

But not my technique...it is a research by Thomas DeMark...so full credit to him....I only brought to the attention of forum members....I have used it to my advantage in my own trading.
