Zerodha - Number One Discount Broker in India

Yesterday and today morning, we had an issue wherein Kite was slow for a few of our clients. This issue has been fixed and shouldn't be repeated. The inconvenience is regretted.
Speed is one thing, the biggest problem is the price getting stuck at a certain value. e.g. today, the SBIN (spot) price was stuck at 277.85 after 1pm or so. Even when the price went up to 280, the latest candle showed LTP as 277.85; the same thing when the price went to 276.

I have posted about it in an earlier page. You can imagine what it does to the charts.

Something hinky about Kite charts.. see the bars at the end. Doesn't refresh properly even on refreshing. Logged out, cleared cookies etc.. but the result is the same. Been happening since the last hour yesterday session, but didn't pay much attention then.

"Responsibility"...haha..who gave it to them. :D

They can also take up more social responsibility and broadcast social initiative ads like build a sauchalay in your home. And incase you already have one then you should use it. And incase you have one and use it too then you can ignore the message.:lol:

Btw it was not their "responsibility" to post a message about todays downtime at the start of the day. They just did that out of "courtesy" just before the close of the day.

The number of clients who use after-market orders (AMO) has gone up significantly in the last few months. All the AMO's are collected and orders are placed as soon as the market opens at 9.15 am. This sudden gush of orders has been affecting the platform performance for the rest of the clients.

Placing equity (stocks) AMO orders at 9 am when the exchange pre-market opening session starts instead of when the normal market opens at 9.15 am benefits in two ways. It improves the order performance for all our clients at market open, and pre-market orders have higher execution priority as compared to normal orders.

So, w.e.f. 15th March 2017, equity AMO orders will be fired to the exchange at 9.00 am when the pre-market opens. Disclosed quantity and stoploss orders for equity are not allowed during pre-market, hence they won't be allowed for AMO orders.

Since future and option orders can't be placed during pre-market session, all F&O AMO orders will continue to be placed like before at 9.15 am.

Hello Zerodha, when did you increase the leverage for BNF and NF ??

:rofl:Nice way of keeping clients by showing a high leverage and freezing the platform.:rofl:

:clapping:Also, Zerodha cashed out the accounts 1 working day before so in case the position went against you, they would get you liquidated quickly without hesitation. :clapping::clapping:

... i recollect an old post by a senior boarder... SAB MILE HUE HAIN..:thumb:

Let's see if this resolves the problem. But, atleast one good thing came out of this is that our orders will be sent to the exchange without any delay.

Kuch toh jilebi gyan de diya:confused:

Does this have any correlation with today's market open issue all faced?

Does only Z have AMO facility and not any other broker? Do all these broker freeze order entry for normal customers for more than 15 mins?

Did all customer place AMO order today en masse?

Were there soooooo many AMO orders that it took over 15 mins for Z server to place them with exchange.

Kidney fail huyi hai aur aankh ka operation kar diya.

Exactly.

It is their problem. Why do not they solve it.

Still do not understand. The same problem which was there in last year repeating this year. Also same excuse from zerodha.

Strange.
