an important note to ppl using trading view-

I am a paid subscriber of trading view. I have noticed data integrity issues with trading view. Eg- closing price of Itc for 13.03 is 162.25 as per nse website . But daily candle shows 163.40 ( which is last traded price as per nse). U can check for other stocks as well, there is discrepency.

I had raised this discrepency on 13.03 itself with them. They have not resolved it so far despite many repeated reminders. a few others have had similar lackadaisical approach from trading view.

since tom Demark work depends on authenticity of closing prices, be careful. Cross check with other data sources.

an fyi note.

thanks.
yes, this has been observed many times before as well. i maintain closing prices as per NSE and you can see i have a one count diff b/w the two for NS.

Can someone pls confirm if we're on Seq CD11 or CD12 on Daily for NS ?

Two data sources, each with diif count.

I am considering the active setup starting 17-feb as 2nd setup is >1.6X that started on 06-Mar.

As per Tradingview data we finished buy CD 12 yesterday. Today unlikely to qualify as 13th even on terminal count....

thanks sirji. My NSE closing shows CD12 but manual count so thought i made a CD counting mistake.

HDFCBank is the only other portf to complete CD count but most other financials, hdfclife, amc etc all in last CD stages.

We need to brace for CD13 NS impact if it comes but accumulation wise, i can say i've never bought this much before :DD
still more to deploy, but i dont mind buying on the rise now with 10-15 yr target.

Signal still intraday but RIL has can complete TD Sq CD13 buy today on account of 1st valid setup that started on 25-Mar.
16-Apr setup is greater than 1.6x rule, almost 2X, so discarded it.

@vivektrader kindly confirm.
On daily RIL is at sell CD5. Can you post the chart?

Setup 1 is 286.7
Setup 2 is 446.75
Setup 1 x 1.618 = 463.88
As setup 2 > setup 1 and less than 1.618 times setup 1
So setup 2 is valid.

Ab free hua mein.

Just a recall, not RIL case specifically, TD Setup Recycles the CD if we get a setup count of 18.

Now can we settle this setup count and True Range of RIL as it has two sell setups.

I think there is difference in data. These values are from TV.

S1 and S2 are the two setups.

H9/L9 are the Highest High/Lowest Low of setup 9 bars.

SH/SL are HH/LL of Setup count.
In 1st setup, there are 11 setup bars.
in 2nd setup, the setup count actually runs up to 17. Whatta run !!

D9 and DS are the setup range, ofc, as per rule we need range of setups, not just the first 9 but a comparison.

Now only the values should tally, bcos the 2nd setup is larger by few points.
