Hi Raunaq
I really appreciate ur modesty in recommending Anant's system over yours.I am not experienced enough to comment on backtesting but ur efforts will surely help many of us to take right decision.Have u backtested ur own system on these lines. What r the results ?
with best wishes
Dear RPC,

I haven't released my system on Traderji as I don't have an AFL for it. It's a custom made software. I have a different approach to trading and my system suits my style. Hence I'd say what seems good to one may not seem good to other. For me though, it works very well.

Hey PPL,

the market blew up in the last 1 hours on short covering and ended on the critical resistance point ie 5260.... The market has been struggling to break this level since long ....

banking and IT stocks esp Infosys was on fire yesterday ..... My guess is that the IT sector and Banking should outperform today to break the 5300 levels( as the Realty sector is in a total chaos). But i see one problem with the IT sector; TCS is at an all time high of 840 which is acting as a high level resistance. Even Infosys has been rallying for quiet some time now... So this might see some correction in this sector..... I have very bullish about the overall market... but 5300 won't be a cake walk unless it opens a big gaps up and closes above those levels (which is quiet possible looking at the US markets now )

Would be great if someone can comment on my analysis....

Thanks
There is no reason as such to be bearish on the market. But there are a handful of reasons to be cautious. The OI figures have touched new highs last friday and the VIX has fallen to new historical low. Now, the reason I am laying so much emphasis on these two indicators is because they have been very accurate to pick market top's in the U.S. market. Somehow, traders feel this time it is different, but at this moment I am very cautious.

We are approaching critical levels of 5300 and if this gets taken out we might head higher. But overall there is no denying that market's are trading with significant amount of divergences between Main and sectorial indices. I don't know how many follow Elliot Wave analysis, but even going by that principle we are due for a wave 2 correction.

So let's see what happens. I have moved up my stop losses near the current market levels. So even if market's do rally, I won't be missing out. And if the market's indeed start correcting, I would be getting out with descent profits.

Hi Anant

By any chance is Savant (SG) back.

I saw him thanking your post so i just guessed so.

FAO: Savant

Hi Savant (Not using Ji or Sir etc as i know you do not appreciate it)

If you are already back just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all your efforts and kindness to the very needy members of this thread and traderji forum (especially the small investors).

I would like to admit and appologize to Anant for having bothered him very much in your absence and would also like to mention that he has been a gem of a person holding the flag high on this wonderful thread of yours in your absence.

I had written an email from my personal id to you i guess you must have missed it as you may have been receiving innumerable emails from all your fans of this thread.

Just in case you are back in Mumbai then would like to pay a visit to you at your convenience in your office. Is your numbers the same as you have mentioned on this thread before.

Would like to mention that my first lessons in TA was from Saint and his "Teach a Man to Fish" thread and my next is from your thread.

Have been religiously going through both your threads from page 1. Have been through the II thread completely and still at page 280 of the mother thread.

I love the simplicity of youlla methodologies.

Hats off to you all Seniors.

(Would like to appologize in advance for ruining the thread no II by posing questions and making posts here when i was not supposed to)

God Bless
Regards

Dear All

Am still at page 320 of the mother thread started by SG.

Came across something called as "Trading Organizer-IV.xls" forwarded by SG to some of the members on this thread.

Would sincerely appreciate if someone could post the same on 4shared dot com and provide a link of the same or the latest version if SG did update the same at a later post.

Thanks in advance
God Bless
