Thank you for your inputs. Negative RR is to handle volatility. Let me see. Maruti worked for me for several months. I even had long term future (5 lots) on and travelled for 5 days into remote places. That scrip gave me profit enough to buy a Swift car. But you may be right. This share has lost its charm and acts jittery now a days. Two such other shares I dealt with were Dr. Reddy's and Axis Bank. They are very very volatile too. HDFC Bank is more sober compared to these. But look at it. If you choose HDFC (the parent), it is so hopeless that it does not move for the whole day. We cannot trade in such scrips.

No,no I have never misunderstood you. I take your feedback in positive spirit. I now believe that you are right on the target setting part of the discussion.. But the stop loss of Rs. 40,000 stays.
Loved that trade porn (in bold) from you. I was thinking MARUTI is an excellent instrument for investors. But I did not have a real world example with me. Your above para confirmed my view.

12 WMA on LOW of Weekly chart had only 7 entries so far since 2014 based on a system where we go long if price closes above the MA and exit when close below it. some exits were immediately followed by an entry . 2 entries are from recent time. Lets hope MARUTI will continue to do wonders for its traders / investors like it did in the future.

I disagree with you.

As a challenge Trade Stock futures in 5 min timeframe. All stoploss will hit.

You should put stoploss at bar's high as shown in image.

Challenge 2
Trade in stock futures in 15 min timeframe and win in trading. you should put stoploss as shown above. not breakout trading.

Challenge 3
Don't fight with me.
As a matter of fact, I've been trading stock-futures for many years, on 1m 5m & 15m charts, & doing pretty well; & in all of these years, I've very rarely traded Nifty & Banknifty, in fact, I can't even remember the last times I did. I don't know why you feel that you need to be so aggressive & combative to a respectful disagreement but nonetheless, I don't want to get into an unnecessary argument & sour Sridhar's thread at the very beginning; so, believe whatever you want, it has no effect on my trading-account. Cheers.

I told from my little experience. I may be wrong Since there are some proof of winning in 5 min stock futures.

I have a question to all - please tell me the R:R in the following scenario:

10 people bet on a horse/car race. Each of them wager 100 & can bet only once. In case a person bets on a losing car/horse, he loses his wager. In case he is the only one who bets on the winning car/horse, he gets 200. In case there are more than 1 person betting on a winning car/horse each winner would get 130.
