Real Time Data Now / Nest Trader to Amibroker, Fcharts

I refrain from commenting without foundation (personal experience). BTW a simple google search reveals 77,400 results as of today. If you are using Mac, that's a different story but with Windows one must not regularly put the PC in sleep or hibernation mode.

Hibernate, on the other hand, saves your computer’s state to the hard drive, and shuts down completely. Your computer won’t draw any additional power, like it does with sleep. When you turn your computer back on, it will load the data from the disk into RAM and resume from where it left off. You’ll go right back to where you were with all your programs and documents open. It’ll take a bit longer to resume, but it won’t take as long as booting up if you had shut down your computer. How long it takes depends on the speed of your hard drive–if you have a speedy solid-state drive, it should be pretty quick.

In other words, Hibernate is literally the same as shutting down your computer–only with all your work saved exactly as you left it.

I do shutdown everyday. From Security point of view if any latest patch update has been released then that wont take effect unless you restart the OS.

You might have multiple instances of RTD.exe process running at the same time. Next time when it happens, do check TaskManager before restarting.
Thanks bro for the suggestion.
But I dont think, it should be the reason (though I will check, when it will happen again) because I always close NestTrader and RTD, before hibernating the system
hmm
Faced similar problem yesterday and today as well.
Today, before starting RTD I checked for it, no RTD.exe was running in process tab and still this issue. I have to restart my laptop to get RTD work
It must be because of some other issue.

Is there a way to backfill Indices? When I tried to backfill nifty50 index button remained unselctable. Earlier I used to backfill from google with the help of Joydeep's data downloader. But of late it stopped working - I dont know why. Is there any other such utlity to get backfill / EOD data? Why is Index unselectable in RTD1.6 - perhaps I am missing something (. Index value bar is there where I have added Nifty 50 and banknifty). Please help.
