General Trading Chat

this STT thing is for excercise of option only ...So it will affect NIFTY and BN option traders only who choose to keep their position till expiry. In other words very small subset of users/trades.
On Equity option it will have zero impact as now we have physical settlement nobody holding position beyond Monday forget till expiry.
Edit:
On second thought this opens up a new market.
Very close to expiry time people can buy options in huge qtys and can gamble without much blowback.
AFAIK,
(at present) this rule (of physical settlement) applies only to some of equity options (and rest are cash settled) and not all equity options
though their intention is to gradually increase the number of equities, for physical settlement

If anyone knows about any sites providing candlestick chart with basic indicators with custom timeframe charts like quarterly, halfyearly, yearly charts, Please let me know . thanks
but a (very widely used :DD ) charting software, provides yearly and quarterly charts if one has sufficient data)

Another 3 or 4 months all fno stocks will be physically settled.

What exactly is the new tax structure ??

Suppose my income, after all adjustments and deductions etc. is :

Rs. 2 lakhs
Rs. 4.9 lakhs
Rs. 7.6 lakhs
Rs. 12.5 lakhs

How much %tax will I have to pay for each of these ??
AFAIK, on income, after all adjustments and deductions, the rate of tax will be as under (plus surcharge etc)

- Rs. 2 lakhs : No tax
- Rs. 4.9 lakhs : No tax
- Rs. 7.6 lakhs : for sr. citizen - 5% on 2 lakhs + 20% on 2.6L For < 60 y : 5% on 2.5L + 20% on 2.6L
- Rs. 12.5 lakhs : for sr. citizen - 5% on 2 lakhs + 20% on 5L + 30% on 2.5L For < 60 y : 5% on 2.5L + 20% on 5L + 30% on 2.5L

If assesse is a super sr. citizen, then its different.
