BSE has low volumes, i don't know why. Even Zerodha which is from South India, does not enable BSE as default.

Most of the Indians trade NSE, not BSE.

Another way to look at it, Bombay residents prefer BSE and National residents prefer NSE

BSE is like Japan Topix (old exchange)
NSE is like Nikkei....

Nothing like South Trade in BSE and North Trade in NSE.

Most prefers NSE ........

Speculative and Price Rigging scripts are available in BSE.....(that may be advantage...Penny Scripts)...
