Free database and downloader for Indian Stocks

The following yahoo group is free for membership.
They provide bse and nse eod data free for members.

In the files section, they also have kept a free software developed by mimansoor for converting data into metastock format.

if not what are you using now? any thing better? also now that yahoo is not giving historic quotes. would you be kind enough to forward the historic quotes (The entire data base in metastock format).to my email id i.e "[email protected]"

I came across this and thought it would help MetaStock users who need free database for Indian Stocks and an automatic downloader.



You can downlod it from: http://www.hypertrader.it/sdownloader.shtml

You can also try DownloaderXL RTquotesXL PortfolioXL OptionsXL and AnalyserXL for downloading data for free. it will use Yahoo symbols and download from Yahoo Finance. You can try and explore it. AnalyserXL is a Paid software others seems to be free. RTQuotes will delayed by few minutes unless you have subscribed to Yahoo Real Time quote.
