Hello @kharikumaar after a long time.where have you been.
hi, just off for sometime with my parents illness etc. plus i was noticing that even though i usually got my analysis right many a times i was ending up with lesser than i should. so i was reworking out my trading strategies. i have now decided to shift from option buying ( tempting as it is) to option selling. i notice i have a lot more positive days this way, even if the returns are lesser. it is a whole lot better.
so i was just working out my methods etc

Slippage is less when SL is before BRN where there is high liquidity. When there is low liquidity there will be more slippage. If you keep you sell SLM below BRN like 11999, 10999. There is possibility after all the liquidity at BRN is eaten up price will slip. Nifty provides least slippage.

Just a little bit of my experience. Just try your system live and you will know everything. Your experience is your best guide.
Right, it is a breakout play on 5 min timeframe...but I'm entering before it is a clear break of a price..will that help with the slippage?
