few examples of mine. Baj fin took long at 3020 , exit at 3080, it hit 3270 after that. Maruti long at 5698 , exit at 5709 as it was tuk tuking. it hit 5850 after that.
Bajaj auto , long at 2508 , exit at 2550. it hit 2650+ after that.
so in booking chillars we miss out on big profits.

You take stock trading or fut, it always happens today both intra trades hit sl ,swing tsl by 11.15 ,basic rule if you are going with TSl mechanism ,you will lose some profit or may end in loss ,if you go by some target booking, you miss good move , if you aim big profits ,prepare for DD..

to add a little bit, one can adapt this as per mkt trends. in volatile or uncertain times, I prefer target based otherwise trailing.
The type of trailing also varies with ATR as many times we have large pullbacks and shouldn't be stopped out unnecessarily.
or be prepared with tighter stops and more re-entries, this we used to do here in 2017 if you remember
