why are you buying puts. is it a carry forward position if required ?

very interesting. Can't find older data on screener. but from 2007 HDFC Bank is consistent
HDFC Bank overtook ICICI in 2016 in terms of revenue as well as profit. after 2016, icici bank is going downhill

but that's not a downtrend when you choose a particular time period.
Intraday trend should be seen on whole day data with opening zone as a reference point.
