I am not sure what exactly u need. Here is the link for the NSE stocks data from 2000.

Thank you Vagar for the link, I wanted some tool which can download historical EOD data for NSE stocks, I dont need bhavcopies for all the 1500+ stocks being traded on NSE which also contains EQ, BE/AE data. I need only EQ. GetBhavcopy gives only EQ, but no filter for stocks, its again downloading the entire bhavcopy. Plus not downloading 2005 data. lol..

Did you try yahoo for historical data. But, you will have to download manually for each stock separately.

I wrote a python script which can use to download data in csv format.

Mention the stocks in symbols list. The dates you can mention using values of a,b,&c in url.

Thank you Vagar, I checked the Yahoo finance data, it gives EOD data since 1998, but the volume is incorrect, seems like Yahoo rounds up the volume. If NSE volume is 634587, yahoo will show it as 634500.

And how to make this python scrip work ?? I am complete new in python..

I think a little round up won't be an issue. You can download python from here and install.
https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-2712/

For now, you can tell me the scripts for which you want to download the data and time interval.

May be on weekend I will try to make a executable of it.

Most of the stocks were trading inside previous session's range, A range bound day.

Did just 1 trade in AXISBANK, which did not workout as expected. Scratched it for a 0.66R loss.

A bad day today. I got two good short opportunity on banking stocks, AXISBANK and SBIN. Where I caught the SBIN short, but could not time the AXISBANK trade and missed it..

Pain of missing trade is more than pain of loosing trades. This trade was nearly 3R trade..

SBIN Trade

Caught the SHORT when minor downtrend started, and exited when downtrend failed to conitnue and consolidation began. Made 1.5R in this trade.
