Normally for a 15 mins charts 4,5 SMA does work .. But it whipsaws a lot... .... Maybe if u have a hawk eye then u can use it to perfection...:thumb:

I am trying the 13,21 SMA on a 3 mins charts.... Looks good so far.... but that too doesnt deliver the correct signals when the market is dancing in the range... Trying to develop some strategy.... will post about my findings by the weekend...

So as far as the stocks go only SG's 20/50 and Anant's 20 MA do wonders...

Also you can try the 20 MA on the Intra charts with a TF of 5 min. It does wonders on intraday as well.
By the way, you going with 13-21 EMA crossover or the one like in Vikas bro's thread?

You are right. It will help learners a lot. Only if you follow some strategies and try to evaluate the performance. Therefore, first thing to have is to follow some specific method for trading and then enter the data into the Excel sheet.

I am going with 13/21 SMA with Stoplosses and trailing Stoplosses... Also keeping an eye on the volume..........

It needs a lot of Scrutiny.... But i am sure with the help of willing seniors and other friends we can figure out something........
I am not even sure if this will work out... Just wanna give it a try...
