Zerodha - Number One Discount Broker in India

Hi, I had been investing only in MFs through Zerodha. I recently found that the netbanking of my Axis Bank Savings account allows me to purchase mutual funds although I do not have any Axis Demat account. Can anyone please compare purchase of mutual funds via
Zerodha
vs
netbanking of non-demat Axis account ?

There is no difference in the MF units or returns etc.

The non-demat form is convenient for those who dont have Demat a/c. Usually there is overhead of maintaining Demat like AMC (annual maint chgs), KYC, dormant/inactivity etc.

If one has demat a/c, then I suggest transacting from here.
In demat form, one can pledge, or use LAS (loan-against-securities) or even easily transfer units to another demat a/c(self or other).
There are more advantages if one needs such options.
