I read it somewhere, that for human being to do anything consistently well at subconscious level, it needs 10 yr or 10,000 hours of work.

That doesn't mean you can't be profitable trader before that.. It depends on YOU,
on how much effort you are putting in, and how fast you can change your wrong trading habits and improve yourself.

If you learn it correctly, then in 1yr to 2 yrs of committed and well directed effort , you might be able to end positively on monthly basis. Otherwise, it is also quite likely that till next 3 yrs, u are searching for holy grail method of 100% successful trading and getting confused with indicators..

who r the so called senior members
in stock market there is no junior no senior
i think here in this forum there are lots of people calling themselves senior and several others calling them senior members(really dont understand on what basis)

* Traded impatinanctly in congestion or non-trending zone (poor trade plan).

* Traded without Stop Loss or with too big Stop Losses (poor Risk Management).

* Traded way too many trades in a day resulting net losses (poor Risk and Money Management).

* Traded against the prevailing trend and then booked losses (poor Plan and Risk Management).

* Traded with the trend but booked small profit and too early.

* Traded with good plan (mm, rm, plan, discipline) but with no faith in the plan resulting less profit to cover other big losses.

* Traded booking small profits and big losses.

* Traded at Market Price in less volume scrips resulting big losses.

* Traded on speculations, rumour or news and getting traped in Market Makers game resulting big losses.

* Traded within fear/greed barrier and without knowing risk/reward ratio.

* Traded on spoon fed tips resulting huge losses.

* Traded getting psyched from CNBC or US/Europe speculations and resulted huge losses.

* Have commited all above and now seasoned trader.

* Have commited some of Marked above Plus some other

* None of above but some other.

* Never commited any mistakes.

* Traded not even realizing after loosing lots of money & time in markets is Not Knowing which Time frame suits personality.

* Averaging and overleveraging to losing position and selling in panic.

* Converted intraday or swing trades into short term and long term without reasons.

Today, my account was wiped out.

I was short Titan Industries 1 lot @ 3850 (125). Today, it jumped 324 points up, in 1 single day. I had to cover at 4200. Lost all my account. No stop loss. Could not get out as I hoped the script would correct, but it did not, and kept going higher...

sorry to hear this thing...but stock futures should be traded only with capital more than 2-3 lakhs....as with big lot sizes anything can happen...good luck for future...
