In a situation like this, it’s best to remain an owner to your own business rather than investing all your earnings in one asset, which can never turn out to be completely profitable. Then again, there is no guarantee of receiving maximum profit. You can save up money simultaneously and use that fund to invest in MF. I hope you make the right choice. Good luck.

Mutual funds are also subject to market risks even if it is comparatively less. You don’t need to sell your business and start investing in mutual funds with all that money. You can start small without ending your business. That is the best thing to do if you ask me.
