1. Your margin shall be calculated as under
a. Margin of 1 lot nifty for buying nifty AND
B. Margin of 1 lot nifty for shorting call of 7600.
Total 2 lot nifty margin minus premium you received for shorting nifty call
Thus any amount between 60-70K
2. All the brokers may or may not have same margin policy, but even if there is any variance eventually it wont make a drastic difference. Dont try to exhaust every single penny kept in your trading account, keep some free money (ideally 1:3 unless you are interested in pure gambling).
3. Consequences of this trade is that you had a probability to earn 223 point under best circumstance, and probability of losing any amount, i.e. 500/1000/1500 and more points under worst circumstances (read my previous replies, I have given the detailed reason).
