Saif,

4th decimal what one normally sees is the Pip for most Crosses except the Yen... but you can keep any amount of numerical on a ECN platform... for eg: 1.4276854 also for buying and selling

Saif,

What I am saying is 1 PIP is the fourth decimal figure for most Pairs except few JPY pairs where the second decimal figure is 1 PIP

Examples:

If you buy EUR/USD @ 1.4276 & Sell @ 1.4277 you have earned 1 PIP Profit
Now it doesn't mean you can't keep a BUY @ 1.427626 or a SELL @ 1.427785
5th, 6th & etc. decimal figures also translate into profit and loss

USD/JPY If you BUY @ 81.75 & SELL @ 81.76 translates into 1 PIP Profit
and again if doesnt mean you can't BUY @ 81.75354 or SELL @ 81.76374

Now do you understand or you still don't understand...

...and please address me as SG and you will have the same undivided attention

SG

sir you mean that the last numerical is for no such use?
