Day Trading Stocks & Futures

re: Day trading Nifty & Banknifty Futures

Hembhai,

Please clarify my doubt if you have time, I have attached my chart, but the first PH breach failed as per my 15 min charts, so is it needed to increase filter level based on fluctuations everyday or just use same filter everyday above PH and below PL.

Dear Tlahuicole,

bof/bdf of ph/pl is very usual part of day trading...... so don't worry about it....... and use normal filter every day..........if any particular day volatility or fluctuations is very high or abnormal then you can increase 1-3 points more in your filter otherwise don't increase....:)

re: Day trading Nifty & Banknifty Futures

as this month m missing profits in my trades due to fast reversals, therefore strategy changed to trail TSL if 20+ in profit.......
So Are you out of the 1st short position or trailing it ??

actually this post refers to my trade excel in which there are many trades in this month over 20-30+ in profit but SL hit, resulting in loss , as SL not trailed......:annoyed:

13 trades so far of this type , so instead of 13 x 20+ = 260+ , I got minus 100.......:annoyed:

still 60 points in minus in NF this month

Ravibhai,

In how much lot do you enter the trade? if its even no: of lots then you can exit half based on tsl on chart basis and half based on percent basis.
