In my hometown Remdesivir injection (MRP. 899) is still being sold for 40000 by the hospital itself and every COVID+ patient has to take 5-6 shots mandatorily. Not sure how much of this money actually goes to supporting staff, nurses whose lives are more at risk than the hospital management.

Interestingly this guideline from Dr.Guleria, AIIMS says, Remdesivir should be given only for severe COVID cases.
