I am saying for pure day trading perepctive, that gaps are irrelevant if one follows market structure/price structure

Many gaps just go without coming back and these tend to be outsized moves. By the time you wait for structure, they are already gone so they are not irrelevant .. But there is no compulsion to trade them.

that depends on how you define the price structure. as per my way of defining the structure, gaps are irrelevant. neither i trade these gaps
