thats why spreads show have locked ends like butterfly
naked becomes tough to manage, infact only prayer mode comes to my mind

that's one of the reason i generally avoid same week options on expiry day. though at times the returns can be superb, its quite difficult to manage to decay and uncertainty. i find that though less in returns, the next week options are more manageable and less stressful
