The new NOW requires us to select one of the ISPs - TATA or BHARTI.

My ISP is actually BSNL.

So, what should I select?
And I went ahead with installation, with default selection of ISP in tact.

After providing User ID and Password, I was straight way taken to Market watch.

There have been no questions about 2FA, no questions about selection of
image or anything. But the attached word document talks so much about
the 2FA authentication.

After all, did I install it properly?

Installed on Friday. My ISP is also BSNL. The 2FA questions were not asked. The configured market watches of NOW 1.6 remained intact. Worked fine. Tested with both Bharti and Tata; did not spot any difference in quote speed or behavior.

My ISP is BSNL.I sent a PM to Zerodha and they replied "Either BHARATI or
TATA,are equally good."I chose Bharati.My NOW.1.6. watchlists are untouched.
Earlier Zerodha warned IF NOW.1.7 IS NOT INSTALLED YOU MAY FACE LOGIN
PROBLEMS FROM MONDAY.

What will it contain? A set of more passwords? Hope it has no fingerprint testing system.I'm no Ethen Hunt
:p
It can contain more passwords, Q&A's, or even Random key based Security Token (This type of token is provided by RSA).

In my opinion RSA security token is the best 2FA authentication method. This type of security is provided by Kotak, Indiabulls, or even by AXIS Bank (1 touch device). In which a random 6 digit PIN is generated by the device, and the user needs to enter the code to execute any trade. In Indiabulls, this Security code is needed only once in an hour.

2FA is simply an extra layer of security, other than the Password or Txn password.

IMO this is a very good move by SEBI, but I would be more glad, if SEBI makes any rule that mandates only RSA based security system.

Just think the pleasure of mind when you are assured that no-one, even your RM can't carry out trades without getting the security PIN generated by your device.

NowOnline has introduced a new login procedure which is not working for me. It is supposed to ask a set of questions, but at that point, I get the "The Error in page" and not able to login to Nowonline. And Zerodha executive has washed his hands off the matter and asked me to contact NOW and no one is picking the phone at NOW. What am I supposed to do now? Is this the Zerodha standard of customer service?
