Now try going back to 2000 on an hourly chart.
Today, for example, it would be very useful to see the 60 minute levels that correspond to the NIFTY 5700-5760 areas, but this is not possible on TT 60 minute, 30 minute, or below charts.

Btw, not bring backwards compatible is a pain and Sharekhan should know better - but they dont!

Till now Tradetiger is one of the good charting sofetwares. With introduction
TT.2 sharekhan made it as the worst softwares around.
With great difficulty of 30 min, I could enter TT.2, but finding myself out TT
in next 5 min.(Frequent disconnections).
I am unable to study all features.
Planning to roll-back to old version.

Have to agree with you my friend. They put something together real fast with poor development standards maybe to catch up with competition, but they failed to consult experienced traders and build a solution that is not just scalable and backwards compatible, but also robust and STABLE! TT2.0.1 is a pain to use, despite Sharekhan's good intentions, and The Starving Trader will be looking to switch to a more comprehensive trading platform in the coming months. Any recommendations are welcome :)

If you do not have 1GB RAM ,do not go for Tradetiger.2 ,it will fry your
processor.I have a cooling pad ,still the processor getting heated up,
and resulting other problems like Intetnet Connection dissruptions.

Running 8GB of RAM and still overheats the processor. Columbus is also correct about the frequent TT 2 disconnect problems. Almost missed out a trade because of this the other day!

Horrible job coding TT2, Sharekhan!

Hi TST,

Apart from TT.2 ,overheating could be due onset of Summer.(Bakaraa !!!!)
In TT.2 we have 5 languages Gujarati,Marathi,Hindi,Tamil and English.
Even a polished Gujarathi will prefer ENGLISH version.Hence it is not a wise
decision of Sharekhan to club all languages in TT2.Yes ,individual can load
a specific version during INSTALLATION process. Not all languages. Or they
can allow specific servers to be used for specific languages.

Who wants themes? Here the purpose is earning money but not for show-offs.
Just Fonts, foregrounds, backgrounds etc are quite enough.

We can not see more than one cash / derivative report in TT, can we? Suppose I want to have my net position report as well as order report open at the same time, it is not possible..

Hi timepass,

I do not trade much on TT.Charting by TT is superb.
Coming to your query, we have DYNAMIC reporting ,all net positions in cash,
derivatives, commodities ,etc ,which will be shown always.(customerized also).
We can open ORDER report also.So in all ,you can open both simultaneously.

Yes, dynamic reporting. I see that and it's useful. But there is only one tab of "Cash reports" and it can display only one report at a time......... or am I missing something?

In charts, it shows the average lines by default. How to remove them? Couldn't find anything in the graph settings.

Also, there is no "about" option in the menu, so how do I know which version am I using?

Hi timepass,

DYNAMIC reporting can be manupulated to your wish ,by going to USER
SETTINGS.
By default graph is shown as LINE with I(nterval)=0.(As it is).Previously
also it was SO, it does not matter much because later we can change it
to I=1,2,3....
Just they have included 2 more studies ATR & CCI.
TT.2 is taking more than 300MB of Virtual Memory, causing heating problems.
Unnecessarily they made it BULKY,they have to address heating problems
immediately.

HI TST,

I am using TT(1.0.4.9.) not sure about TT-2.0.1, it has historic data of not
last year but last decade.Since I do not need historic data much and also
easy for me to rely on other sources(NSEGUIDE),I have not checked recently.

YOU CAN GET IT IN THIS WAY
Plot yearly graph.Move the content of the graph from LEFT to RIGHT,with
keeping mouse button pressed ON.
after increasing the capacity of my lap top still unable to load trade tiger 2 version, if you can guide steps, to load it on line, and what is the capicity required for laptop for this down loading.thanks in advance
