Correct ... Thats why it is believed that extremely low volatility for a longer period is unhealthy for markets. Volatility needs to be in balance for fair price movement. Increase in IVs doesn't always mean bearish market. Gradual increase at this stage would be healthy for markets.
Premiums of Nifty & Bank Nifty CEs are now reasonable and aligned with price movement. Friday saw heavy erosion in premiums. However, index PEs still look a bit expensive.
