Ofcourse you are free to add/delete scrips. The scrips given are for sample. Whichever scrips you keep in excel should be present in your data feeder. Otherwise you will not get live quotes.

It means you operating system is not allowing you to write to the C:\MyCSV.csv file. Which operating system are you using?
The reason could be that you do not have permission to write to the root folder i.e C:\ of your PC or the file is open.

It seems you succeeded in getting the live quotes in Excel.
Try to create a file on C:\ with notepad or wordpad and revert.
1. My OS is Windows 7 Basic Home Edition.

2. Can I change the permission settings for enabling the writing to the root folder ?

3. I was not able to see live quotes in Excel .

4. I'll try as you have said about creating the file and will surely revert back with the information

Thanks & Regards.

1. OK

2.You can change permissions but I will not advise that. Windows 7 is funny. It will allow you to create new folder in root drive. Right-Click on the windows icon at the bottom left (Start). Then click on Open windows explorer. Explorer will open. Click on C:\ and RightClick-New-Folder. A flder called New Folder will be created. DoubleClick on its name (not on icon). Change the name to "RT" and revert.

3. You first step is to get live quotes in excel. We will get them to AmiBroker Charts later.

Select any cell in Date column above and copy -Paste it in empty cell in Column A. or write this formula "=Today()" without quotes.

Today I added Nifty Call and Put of 5000. Other scrips can be added the same way. The images will tell how to do this.
Select desired scrips. Right-Click.-Link to Excel - Selected items.

Hello Josh1,

I turned off the UAC and that solved the problem of getting the RT quotes in the excel. So now as you said that our first step is to get the RT quotes in excel.

Now when I click the "Start" button a Runtime Error comes "type mismatch" but the quotes keep on refreshing in the xlsm file. Amibroker gets opened up but RT chart does not form. So as you have said I am waiting for your instructions for getting Amibroker get going. If you will say I will post images of the Error and also the highlighted line in the code.

Thanks a Lot .

Go to NSE-NOW-RT2.xlsm and select empty cell in Column B just below the last scrip. RightClick and Paste Or Press Ctrl+v. The two scrips were added

Select any cell in Date column and copy -Paste it in empty cell in Column A. or write this formula "=Today()" without quotes.
