Excellent performance by Indian team. Pak had almost no chance of winning.
Way to go!

I remember the Indian team back in the day of Javagal srinath/Venky prasad/azhar etc etc when the fielding was so poor and the batting only dependent of a few stars. 3-4 indians wickets down and the India was doomed to fail.
Somewhere along the line, India decided that they would perform better. Over the years, younger players were included in the team who started diving at boundary lines and in the slip cordon. Older Performers started to feel the heat seeing the younger guys perform so well..... To retain their place in the team, the older guys had to work hard and be more fitter. 10-15 years later, We see a formidable Indian cricket team which is considered to be one of the best batting sides, one of the best bowling sides and even one of the best fielding side.

Big changes happen with a single decision. That single decision to become better and formidable taken many years ago is now bearing sweet fruits for the Indian side. The Indian side has gone from being "unable" and "unwilling" to make difficult choices to "able" and "willing" to make difficult decisions. The results are there for all to see.

I am somehow compelled to make a comparison with cricket to trading. Both involve difficult decision making at every minute. Skills can only get you so far. Knowing how good your skills are and your limitations are, can get you even further. The only one that wins,. is the one who has to ability to grit his teeth and walk the difficult path. Rest of them lose the game.

Hope you all enjoyed the game although it didnt end up as nail biting as we expected.
