# What is market price ?

From the given screenshot below what I understood is:

• Price increases as quantity of share supplied S increases
[ for ex: 1share price = x
5share price = 5x ]

• Quantity of demand D increases as share price decreases

• And the price at which S and D intersect is called market price

My doubt is : Does this price indicate 1share price?
Or 1share price × quantity supplied?

You said " y-axis is price per unit quantity ".
From my screenshot given,
price = 2000 and it's corresponding quantity = 5
What does this mean ?

Means if the price is \$2000 per share, 5 shares will be supplied.
