Trading using 'Contracts for Differences' (CFD)

I was reading about 'Contracts for Differences'...

Concept is simple instead of buying/transferring stocks to DEMAT account
One trading entity holds the stock and allows to place buy/sell orders on the stock
and the difference is settled.

This avoids host of other stupid charges...

I am not sure intraday margin trade is same as CFD.

Do we have Indian equity trade providers based on CFD?
If not, why not? perhaps Zerodha should take a note of this...
I guess it can bring another round of price drop in trading!
