i had installed dataram ramdisk drive of 1 gb so how to use in rtd utility.
to speed up my real time tick data .
bcoz i use tick data to trade.

For Josh1 utility you will require just 30 mb of space in ramdisk, that too
is on the higher side, as Rtd file uses less than 10 Mb.
If you are targeting for tick data then you need to link
directly to NSE servers, not even the best paid data vendors are
able to cater with tick data. In ami configure database settings > "Base
time interval" keep 1 minute or 1 second.

Ramdisk helps in smooth functioning of the utility as one is allocating dedicated space for functioning of the utility.

1 gb ramdisk is too big. As sevenD said, few mb is enough.first start the ramdisk. Then a new drive will appear In my computer. In the settings window u have a column where that location has to be typed. Mine is f DRIVE. See the pic in previous posts.

I selected Nifty Future Current Month and Next Month. Surprisingly both are getting marked as F1 only, instead of F1 & F2. Hence Data is getting fudged up.

Unable to realise where i have erred. Please help me to solve the issue.

You have to give F1 and F2 separate ly for futures​ and restart. This is once in month activity

if you use SSD hardisk, ramdisk not required.
ramdisk creates some more problems when power failure or system hang
here main bottle neck is hard disk when data is recorded every fraction of second. SSD is best solution for this problem

In RTDMan.ini file append the current month as F1 and next month as F2
eg;
Scrip1=nse_fo|NIFTY17APRFUT;NIFTYF1;LTP;LTT;Volume Traded Today
Scrip2=nse_fo|NIFTY17MAYFUT;NIFTYF2;LTP;LTT;Volume Traded Today

In RTD 1.4 you will have to backfill only F1 at one go and then backfill all F2
appends/alias only next.
In new RTD_1.5 it auto picks the appends/alias from the RTDMan.ini file for backfills
