Good contributions from experianced members. Trading is a profession if you see and feel it as a profession. Trader must know what is the risk he is willing to take in a particular trade otherwise it is just like GAMBLING. Trading means decipline. Trading means willing to take caluculated loses. Trading means business. In business there may be profits or losses. Trading means minimise loss and maximise profit. Trading means patience and wait till the opportunity comes on the way.Trading means protecting your TRADING CAPITAL. Protecting TRADING CAPITAL IS SOUL FOR A TRADER.Trading means not forcasting markets.Trading means following the TREND.

These are summary in simple words of wise traders like Traderji

If anybody is making money in trading business he must have digested and following the above said rules.

Trading is a zero sum game....
If some one is in profit then there is someone who is losing on the opposite side of the trade.......For every winner there has to be a loser.......

Some people may say that i bought RIL one week ago at 350 and sold today at 390.00 in profit and the other daytrader who bought today at 390 and sold at 410.00....for 20 points profit....Both are in profit
but for Intraday that first trader is on losing side as he has sold RIL at 390....and is assumed to be a shortseller for the day
its easy to earn money in stocks than Futures & Options as you can find losers everyday who are short to long term investor and is selling so daytraders become winner by moving the price up.....
When Market is zooming up madly,Market-makers are actually selling from their inventory...
like ur view
