Yes....keep context in mind....we are trading a downmove in longer term uptrend ...so did not expect more than 40-50 points dip from the open.If it was a downmove in a downtrend, would not have covered.

Ok sir. I got short last evening when there was exhaution on top around 8978. Covered since we closed around same figure. May be we can go back to 8800. But RR doenst seem to be good. May be i thght you got in early morning open. Thanks enjoy ur day out

Can someone brief more on swing short beyond a day. (not in swing short daytrade). Does it mean one sells a equity and convert it to holding to avoid auto square off before 3.30PM and then buy back after T+2 days?

Im currently using zerodha where short trades are auto squared off at 3.20PM.

What is the procedure to avoid auto square off?

I don't think you can carry over short positions in equity cash segment. But some brokers allow STBT .

Short position carry forward in cash segment is not possible. For keeping short positions beyond a day you have to take position in futures segment..
