Yes all the bank has this charge for savings account. If you have too many transaction, better use current account or have multiple savings account or use credit card for shopping and pay the bill from savings account.
Thanks !! Credit card !! Another way would be to use a wallet. Every shop nowadays had paytm/ phonepe etc.

Can you give an example please ?
Say if you want to go long in nifty, you can buy niftybees, or bankbees for bank nifty. You can sell after few days. So essentially you are swing trading in nifty without using leverage.

But the problem is for large volumes you will find a lot of slippage.

Yes but if you use paytm or PhonePe UPI then you would have many entries in your savings account. Nowadays very few shopkeepers are accepting wallet payments. They insist on UPI.

Just to let you know in case you're unaware, paytm UPI and paytm wallet is different.

But even UPI will create a debit transaction in the savings account.

No, it is not worse. If you look carefully it is said that it "will not include alternate channel transactions"........ meaning upi/netbanking debit entries won't be counted. In central bank of India, in this case, debit entries which would be counted are: cash withdrawal by atm/branch or issuance of cheque to someone or demand draft/pay order issuance etc.

Whereas in union bank of India, all types of debit entries would be counted.

I wonder if debit card entries would be counted.
