Bank of Japan September monetary policy meeting announcement

-Keeps negative rate unchanged
-To expand monetary base until inflation stable above 2%
-To modify its policy framework
-Decides to set target for long term interest rates
-Maintains -0.1 pct negative interest rate
-To abandon monetary base target
-Says no official base money target, but maintains annual pace of JGB buying at 80 trln yen
-Adopts commitment to let inflation overshoot above 2 pct
-BOJ can cut short term policy rate, target level of long term rates in future easing

For the time being, USD/JPY is a little higher.
Japanese stock exchange bank stocks are a lot higher, upto 5%.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Karur Vysya BankBSE 0.83 % jumped nearly 2 per cent in Tuesday's trade after the lender announced subdivision of its share into five equity shares of lower face value (FV). The lender said it would split one stock of FV Rs 10 into five shares of FV Rs 2.

How long this process would take to split shares? If i buy some shares now and plan to sell after split, will be there be a no trade period after the split.

Around 12.30pm, a little movement happens, and with current sideways trends, Europe being the gloomiest of all, tendencies for our markets to slip a bit has become common.
When Europe opens green, then a sudden surge upwards follows.
