It does..only problem is realizing whether ... news is good or bad

I spent some time with Elliot waves and what I read there was market makes up its mind where to go, news just accelerates it..for e.g., if a fall is already in motion or about to happen, -ve news may accelerate it and there were many chart examples of this given. will try to find and post a link later.

I don't follow it as a trading strategy, just observation, often gives a good indication of the direction.
