Thanks to our member simplebuthard, I learnt that Federal Bank is not a PSU bank, it is a private bank.

Made the appropriate changes in my marketwatch.

PSU Banks have low %age in bank nifty - not much impact even if they fire off.

Only if HDFC Bank/SBI/ICICI fire then only index will zoom like rocket. And these are busy eating ragda patty at chowpati
