Issue here is not if he is correct, issue is Air Force experts were saying no and PM suggested in his "raw wisdom" lets do it. Either India should fire all her Air Force experts due to lack of their knowledge or it was PM who was meddling between security/safety decisions...

If normal rain/cloud could affect so much I'm sure defence organisation around the world are using better system and different band then x-band.

Btw, the radar's are used to even track small particles like snow fall.

Beside, few people already pointed that such scientist could be bought for few thousands of rupees. (it was when 100s of scientist, economists and artists wrote to public not to vote bjp..)
