it is not necessary that 2 individuals agreeing each other. as per ones opinion/line of thinking, every newspaper (or journalist) one reads or follows, is a reputed one. leave it, you wont understand.
But you forget to defend IndiaToday, while mentioning TH and IE
I could comment on Indian Express (writing against Indira Gandhi during emergency) or The Hindu as I have read them in depth. India Today (or Aaj tak , same group) I'm not so sure.

been reading all sort of newspapers and magazines for last 35-38 years!.(was forced to read minimum 15 newspapers each day and 10 magazines weekly as kid :p ) Many sadly closed down as they had policy to be vocal against ruling party be bjp/congress or janta dal. I must say current phase of journalism is at its lowest. part blame lies to whatsapp university or affiliated bloggers who made sure no one believes main stream media, sometimes justifiably.

TV news are worst. Very few print media has integrity left. If you read with open mind both past and present issues, of all sides, you could identify which one is better.

edit: imagine in time of emergency, with Indira gandhi sending police to each newspaper's office in mid-night to check what they were printing and forcing them to leave pages blank, and now few media house have no backbone left and are only after bones left for them !!

you wrote, "Many sadly closed down as they had policy to be vocal against ruling party be bjp/congress or janta dal."
perhaps you are talking of ruling parties at centre and not states, as you very conveniently missed to name a few, that are/were very very friendly with many newspaper publications/journalists. and I fully agree with you, when you say, "I must say current phase of journalism is at its lowest. part blame lies to whatsapp university or affiliated bloggers who made sure no one believes main stream media, sometimes justifiably", because some very intelligent thinkers, cant/wont believe that how people can think of themselves and have their own opinion and not what is taught to them (public) by them (those intelligent people). and who do have their own way of thought, were/are stamped as from whatsapp university
you are also right when you say, TV news are worst, unless it is from some very specialised media house and from some very specialised journalists. Do I need to name those media houses/journalists. huhhhh
you further wrote, "now few media house have no backbone left and are only after bones left for them !!" very truly said, should I name a few media houses and journalists or you will like to name a few lol lol

by the way, what are your views, who started this corona pandemic. May be any country (perhaps USA), but not China lol lol

Those in authority must keep a watch on Pakistan open for Ramzan... that may be a good benchmark for us to make decisions on opening up or extension... (I've said this on the other thread but this thread is more relevant, hence repeating).
Also Sweden is to be watched... it's not locked-down at all (not officially at least) and is doing fairly well compared to its peers in continental Europe but doing poorly when compared to Scandinavia...

you said "The B.C.G vaccine and polio vaccine have probably got us some protection already. "
and what about those who have not taken these vaccinations, particularly Polio vaccine (drops), wont write more otherwise it will become communal lol lol

and you think that whatever is posted in IndiaToday, TheHindu, IndianExpress (to name a few), are all facts lol lol
BCG and Polio vaccine are compulsory in India (at childhood). Not sure if you are from different country, but then if you have not got the vaccine then you do not come under the safe category of BCG+Poliovaccine recipients.

In any case would not go with the Iranian option of applying essential oil to any part to treat coronavirus :DD:clown::

na bhai, I am also very much from India. I think that BCG vaccine has been done away in India, since long, though still continuing with Polio drops, even sometime with a special drive on a (single) day to cover whole (max. of) India. but some were/are toooo reluctant to give polio drops to their child, with a view, that it (campaign of polio drops) is being done, so as to curtail their manhood and so the population. Do you want more details, sorry I wont write lol lol

he must be from pakistan where polio vaccines are opposed due to 'manhood' romours. He doesn't know India doesn't have any polio cases since Jan 2011, that means everyone is taking polio vaccines
