Thanks.YES in choppy market conditions Bollinger Bands work very well.
We had a choopy market today.Sometimes addition of Stochastic is an
added advantage. Basics you can learn from any book / internet.The
thread contains mainly ,examples.

Mangafreakz,

The charts are from Trade tiger only ,Karvy's go TX does have any great
charting program.(rather bad charting program)

For example if you enter Karvy's terminal at 1100 then you will miss
the action from 0955 to 1100.

BB(20,2) with time frames 3min & 5 min present below.

Today it seemed the BB method has worked in
strong tending market also.

it is observed that when a pair of (GREEN+RED) touches the top
Band the market reverses ,similarly a pair (RED+GREEN) touch the
bottom band the market reverses.It is advisable to start with 2 lots
and when it touches the middle line ,better to square off ,one lot.
Basically it depends on your risk appetite.
